Designed by Mr. Terry Chow and the Excellent-Group team, the NI Parasol is a unique and versatile lighting solution that combines form and function. Inspired by the need for a lighting fixture that seamlessly integrates into outdoor environments, the designers created a product that not only illuminates but also enhances the ambiance of any space.

The NI Parasol stands out with its sleek aluminum frame and outdoor powder coating, ensuring durability and resistance to the elements. The shade, made with Sunbrella fabric, adds a touch of elegance and sophistication to the design. The use of heavy aluminum and brass connectors ensures stability and longevity, making it suitable for seaside locations where salt-laden winds can cause rusting.

One of the key features of the NI Parasol is its user-friendly interface. The one-touch dimmer allows users to adjust the lighting levels with a simple finger motion. This intuitive interaction ensures that users can easily create the desired ambiance for any occasion. Additionally, for high-class environments such as hotels or museums, a remote control is available for centralized control of multiple parasols, providing convenience and ease of use.

With its innovative design, the NI Parasol offers a unique lighting experience. The 3-channel lighting system allows for customization, enabling users to create different lighting effects and moods. The uplight and downlight, with warm 2200K and 1800K LEDs respectively, create a captivating and eye-catching display. The low voltage LED driver not only ensures energy efficiency but also minimizes heat generation, making it safe and suitable for prolonged use.

The NI Parasol is the result of extensive research and development. The design team tested over 50 different LED colors to find the perfect combination that would enhance the outdoor environment. The all-in-one cabling system, combined with the ability to easily change the LED lights, allows for quick setup and flexibility in different settings.

The NI Parasol project started in February 2013 in Hong Kong, China, with the initial idea conceived in December 2012. The first prototype was completed in January 2014 and was later exhibited at the International Furniture Fair Singapore in March 2014. The design has received recognition for its excellence and innovation, winning the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in the Lighting Products and Fixtures category in 2014.
